For removal businesses

Many business owners in the trade know these situations well. Under each one you can read what Ainio does for you.

  • To estimate a price you’d have to go and see the belongings in person.

From the customer’s photos you get an estimate of cubic metres room by room, plus the number of movers, hours and van size. Only you see the estimate.

  • The request is missing the floors, the lift and heavy items, and they’re chased one message at a time.

You get a ready message that asks the customer for just the missing details in one go.

  • The move runs over or the carrying distance is long, and nobody remembers the extra charge on the invoice.

The invoice gets the time the job took, but at least the agreed minimum. You add an extra charge during the move with one tap.

  • The moving boxes stay with the customer, and nobody remembers to collect them.

On collection day you get a reminder if boxes are missing, and the missing boxes are added to the invoice at your price list price.

  • At the turn of the month more removal requests come in than you can handle, and it isn’t clear which ones are worth taking. In the Huippu plan

Ainio tells you which of the jobs on offer fit into your week and which of them earn you the most. You also see why the others were left out.

Try it free for 30 days and get set up in about 10 minutes. Nothing goes to the customer without your approval.

Frequently asked questions

What removal businesses often ask

Here are the answers to the questions removal businesses ask before they start using Ainio.

How does Ainio estimate the size of a move?

Ainio looks at the furniture and boxes room by room in the photos the customer sent and estimates their volume in cubic metres. The number of movers, the hours and the van size are always worked out from the cubic metres with the same formula. The estimate is a guide, and only you see it.

Can a move be priced by the hour?

Yes. You choose an hourly rate and a minimum charge as the pricing, and they show in the quote. The invoice gets the measured time rounded up to the next quarter hour, but at least the minimum charge.

How are extra charges recorded?

Add rows to your price list whose name starts with the word Lisämaksu (extra charge), for example “Lisämaksu: piano” or “Lisämaksu: waiting time 15 min”. They show as buttons in the move details, and a tap adds the row to the invoice.

Does Ainio remember the moving boxes?

Yes. You log the boxes dropped off and the collection date in the move details. On collection day Ainio reminds you on the home page if boxes are missing, and the missing boxes can be added to the invoice at the price of the moving box row in your price list.

What if something gets damaged in the move?

The customer signs off the move on your phone, and the condition of the belongings is noted in the sign-off. If the customer complains later, Ainio shows the move details on the complaint card. From there you can arrange a warranty repair or download a summary for the insurance company as a PDF.

Does Ainio send anything to the customer without me?

No. Ainio drafts replies, quotes and invoices, and they go out only once you approve them.

Is Ainio quoting and invoicing software for removal companies?

Yes, and a bit more. You make your quotes and invoices with Ainio, and you also get replies to customer messages ready, jobs in your calendar and a view of which invoices have been paid. The bookkeeping is still done in your accounting software.

How much does Ainio cost?

Plans start at €99 a month (+ VAT), and depending on the plan you can have up to 3, 8 or 15 users. You can try Ainio free for 30 days, and during the trial you get the full Huippu plan (with trial usage limits). There is no lock-in, and you can cancel at any time.
